After a very bad home buying experience in 1987 I knew there had to be a better way. Several years (and 2 kids) later, I decided to give real estate a try. I started my real estate career in 1994 and was named "Rookie of the Year". I haven't looked back. This is not a job for me. This is my passion and I love what I do and can't image doing anything else. Seeing the excitement in someone's face when they walk into "THE" house or telling a seller that I have an offer for them makes this a very fulfilling career for me. In my free time I enjoy volunteering my time to plan, organize and run various events. She was honest with her feedback regarding houses seen, took into consideration our growing family and what would be best for us regarding a home for a family, as well as making sure we were getting the best home for our money. She was very flexible in regards to times to see houses - taking time out of her schedule on New Years Eve to show us the house that we ended up purchasing. I would recommend Shirley because she wasn't a pushy realtor, meaning she wasn't pressuring us to see multiple houses, she let us decide what we wanted to see. I would also recommend her because she was very honest and truthful while looking at multiple houses. Shirley Niven is an absolutely amazing realtor.
