Originally from the Chicago area, my family moved to the Washington DC Metro region in 1967, where both my parents taught for Fairfax County Public Schools. After growing up in Northern Virginia and graduating from George Mason University, I moved to Montgomery County, Maryland in 1987. After first living in Kensington, we bought our first home in Gaithersburg in 1989. In 1998, we bought a new home in Germantown where I currently live with my wife, Jean and our dog Luna, a mixed breed with mostly terrier and shepherd. Both my wife and I love our area and our neighbors and are active and committed volunteers in the community. We are mostly empty nesters with a grown daughter. Jenna that also lives in the area. Living in the DC area for over 50 years provides me a perspective and knowledge that is hard to find. I entered Real Estate in 2002 after a career in the IT industry. What I like most about my job as a real estate agent is meeting new people, learning about their lifestyle and desires so I can match them with the best neighborhoods and homes. Being a natural problem solver and task manager, allows me to stay on top of all the tasks that need to be managed throughout the home sale process. When you are buying or selling a home no one wants surprises, so I communicate continually with my clients, so they know where everything stands and what to expect as the transaction progresses to settlement and beyond. It brings me such joy to help individuals and families find a great home and get settled in. Most of all, it is my goal to ensure my clients feel very comfortable and confident that their home purchase or sale is in good hands, and that they know that their best interest is always in the forefront of my attention. I will always tell you what you need to know, but never what you want to hear. A successful home sale is based on absolute trust and integrity. Everything I do, everything I say, is always meant to ensure the most successful outcome possible.
