Hello, my name is Barry Carter. I started my real estate career in 1998. I am a native Greene Countian living here my entire life, with no plans of leaving. Along with my real estate career, I was an educator in the Greene County School System for 30 years. I retired from education in 2011 and have been practicing real estate full time since.
I enjoy working with all of my customers. I enjoy first time buyers and also those season buyers that bought homes in the past. It is a pleasure to work through each transaction to hopefully have each one be a pleasant enjoyable experience.
I also enjoy working with those that are looking to sell a house or land. I try to do the best job for those folks also marketing their property and getting the property sold.
On a personal note, I married the former Rhonda Chandler. We have a daughter Shannna. We live in Mosheim near where my grandparents lived. We are members of Brown Springs Baptist Church.

Buyer reviewBarry was the most down to earth person to work with. He's very attentive to our needs for a house and made himself available even on weekends. I would recommend him for anyone looking for a house. We dealt with some other people and did not like their approach to finding our dream home. Barry is not like that. He took everything into consideration when trying to find our home. Working with him made our impossible possible. Best damn realater around. Barry Carter made it fun and exciting to look for our home. Other people we talked to we're very pushy . Barry put the happy back in our home search. Their are no words to describe Barry but Godsend. God heard our prayers and sent Barry. If I ever buy any more property I'm using century 21 legacy and Barry Carter.!!!

We got approved in 2018 to buy a house, made an offer, went through everything until we got bad news from our mortgage lender and couldn't come up with more money to meet the debt to income ratio. Barry has been showing us houses for five years. He has sent emails of houses available. When I inquired about a house he found out and texted me right back with an answer. He got to know my husband and children. The kids loved him. He was great to work with and I would recommend others to see him. He will look for something for you or show you a house or land or whatever your needs may be. I am very grateful Barry did not give up on us. Barry gave me hope when I was about to give up. He gave me Lance McKinney at Apex bank to help me when I didn't think I could get a loan. This whole experience went smoothly and quickly. We got everything done in less than a month. It was awesome!
