CENTURY 21 LOTUS broker/owner becomes sixth real estate professional affiliated with the CENTURY 21 brand to lead the organization

(April 6, 2026) — Century 21 Real Estate LLC, a subsidiary of Compass International Holdings (NYSE: COMP), proudly celebrates the installation of Edwin Acevedo, broker/owner of CENTURY 21 LOTUS, as the 2026 National President of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals® (NAHREP®). Acevedo was officially installed during the recent NAHREP Homeownership and Housing Policy Conference in Washington, D.C., where housing leaders, policymakers, and industry stakeholders convened to discuss the future of Hispanic homeownership in the United States.
Acevedo’s installation marks another milestone in the more than 20-year relationship between the CENTURY 21® brand and NAHREP, as well as the continuation of an extraordinary leadership legacy. With Acevedo’s appointment, six national NAHREP presidents have now come from the CENTURY 21 network, underscoring the brand’s longstanding commitment to advancing sustainable Hispanic wealth through homeownership. Acevedo succeeds Oralia Herrera, broker/owner of CENTURY 21 TK Realty Inc., who served as NAHREP’s 2025 President, and Nora Aguirre of CENTURY 21 Americana, who served as the 2024 President, making this the third consecutive year a CENTURY 21–affiliated leader has held the organization’s top role.
A respected industry leader, entrepreneur, and advocate, Acevedo has built his career around service, mentorship, and community impact. As founder and broker/owner of CENTURY 21 LOTUS, he has helped expand access to homeownership while cultivating future leaders within the real estate profession. His journey with NAHREP spans local, regional, and national leadership roles, where he has worked to amplify Hispanic voices and advance policies that support equitable housing opportunities.
Acevedo’s installation took place alongside NAHREP’s unveiling of its 2025 State of Hispanic Homeownership Report, which highlights both the progress and persistent challenges facing Hispanic households. The report reinforces the critical role Hispanic buyers continue to play in driving homeownership growth nationwide, while underscoring the need for continued advocacy, education, and access to resources.
